As a Registered Home Inspector (RHI), Marty has completed Pillar To Post’s exclusive Inspection Training Program, a variety of Electrical, Heating, and Plumbing courses, as well as the required examinations offered by Home Inspectors Association BC (HIABC). He has also taken advanced Carson Dunlop training qualifying him to perform inspections on commercial buildings. Marty has been involved in the construction industry as a Contractor since 1991.

In order to keep himself up to date with the evolving construction industry, Marty attends various seminars every year. These seminars include identifying grow-ops and ventilation issues, roofing, a variety of heating systems, and many more. He has taken extra training to qualify for Mold Sampling and Indoor Air Quality Assessments combined with training for a full line of sampling techniques for various contaminants.

Marty is passionate when it comes to informing his clients about the condition of their new homes and helping them comprehend how their home works as a system. He excels at explaining his findings clearly, and before leaving an inspection ensures his clients feel confident about understanding their report.

Having managed many extensive renovation and building projects and having worked closely with contractors, buyers and sellers, Brad has a unique perspective on how homes need to perform. After completing the Pillar To Post exclusive training program he continued his education with advanced courses designed specifically for Home Inspectors and aced the required examinations offered by Home Inspectors Association BC (HIABC).

In order to keep himself up to date with the evolving construction industry, Brad attends various seminars every year, ranging from identifying ventilation issues to basements and foundations and beyond.

Brad relates well with buyers and realtors as he spent many years working with all sides of the industry. Ensuring all issues are addressed during an inspection and giving concise reports that are understood by all parties remain Brad’s primary focus.
